To get a better look at the course you can move the overhead camera. This can be done by moving your mouse cursor around the screen whilst holding the left mouse button in. This will allow you to pan the camera around to change what you're looking at.

You can zoom in to get a closer look at your shots by using the scroll wheel on your mouse or the scroll functionality on your trackpad.

Finally, you can rotate the camera by moving your cursor around the screen whilst holding the right mouse button in.

If you want to move the shot and where you are aiming, left click and hold the target and then move it to where you want that shot to go.
