What are they?
While other Tournaments in Golf Clash focus on competing against other players, Solo Play Tournaments let you take part in Tournaments in single-player mode. Instead of matching with opponents, you’ll play every stage and hole of the Tournament by yourself.
Where to find Solo Play Tournaments
- Go to the main menu.
- Tap Play Golf.
- Select a Tournament that has a Solo Play option.
Do Solo Play Tournaments work differently than multi-player Tournaments?
Solo Play Tournaments are similar to other Golf Clash Tournaments in many ways. For example, both multi-player and Solo Play modes have the same number and type of stages in Tournaments, Majors, 18-hole Tournaments, and Mini-Tournaments.
The main difference is that you can play Solo Play Tournaments in single-player mode without competing against other players.
Here are a few other elements that are slightly different in Solo Play Tournaments.
Shot limits
Shot limits determine the maximum number of shots you can take at a hole before a match ends. Since there are no opponents in Solo Play Tournaments, there’s a shot limit at every hole and stage of a Tournament.
Match prizes
Without other players to compete against, you can’t win match prizes by performing better than your opponents. Instead, you’ll have a chance to win a chest at the end of every match.
Heads up: this prize is given randomly, so you might not win one at the end of every match.
Player stats
Stats like Total Games, Games Won, Win Percentage, and Win Streak aren’t impacted by whether you play multi-player or Solo Play Tournaments. However, Longest Drive and score types (Holes in One, Birdies, etc) are affected by Solo Play Tournaments.
Season Pass challenges
Solo Play Tournaments still contribute to the Season, but not in player-vs-player challenges, like:
- Decisive Winner
- To the Wire
- Streaky Bacon.
