Golf Clash does not take the number of games each golfer has played into consideration when matching players.

Whilst experience is always a good thing, the number of games played does not accurately reflect how skilled a golfer is. For example, a golfer who has earned 1000 trophies in less than 200 matches, could be seen as a higher skilled golfer when compared to a golfer who achieved the same number of trophies in 10,000 matches.

This is why the game uses Trophies to match opponents, as this is the best indicator of a golfer's true skill level.
