Golf Clash does not take golf clubs, golf balls and matches played into consideration when matching players.

This is because the equipment each golfer has and the number of games they have played, does not always reflect a golfer's skill level accurately when compared to the number of Trophies. Trophies are used, as this is the best indicator of a golfer's true skill level.

Example: A golfer who has 2,000 trophies and 10,000 games played, may not be as skilled as a golfer who has earned 2,000 trophies in fewer matches.

Please note that the highest number of trophies achieved by a player will also be taken into consideration when matching opponents. This is done to prevent golfers from intentionally losing trophies to try and face easier opposition, without impacting players who have lost trophies naturally.
